RULES & REGULATIONS

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

STAGES FOR THE COMPETITION

Each participant MUST:

be an active member of a Boys' Brigade Company within Lagos State Council.
Must have a State Membership Number .
be within the age bracket of 6 – 18 years old.
be ready to supply details of his age when required so to do.

Any violation of the eligibility rule or false declaration of age will lead to disqualification of the concerned participant.

AGE LIMIT FOR SECTIONS:

JUNIOR SECTION: 8 - 11 YEARS (BORN: 2017 - 2014)
COMPANY SECTION: 12 - 15 YEARS (BORN: 2013 - 2010)
SENIOR SECTION: 16 - 18 YEARS (BORN: 2009 - 2007)

STAGES FOR THE COMPETITION

There shall be Two (2) levels for the competition – Zones and State.
The first stage will be an Online Test between Battalions which has been divided into 5 Zones.
The best at the Zonal levels will progress to the State Finals.
The State Finals will have first and second runner-up.
The Winner and the two runners-up at the State level will be presented with prizes, while the winners at the Battalion levels will be presented with prizes.

COMPETITION ROUNDS

The competition will have two (2) distinct rounds.

ROUND 1 - ZONAL BIBLE QUIZ

Each Battalion must provide Desktops or Laptops with internet access, which MUST be camera-enabled and Audio enabled to write the test as candidates will be disqualified if camera and audio are not enabled..

The round will be in COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT) format. :

The Candidate MUST be in full camera view at all times. You may adjust the proper camera view on the homepage instructions page view before entry and starting the exam. faces that will be sitting for the Exam. There will be no changes.
Battalion presenting Candidate(s) for this Bible Quiz Competition must have registered online with the Boy’s passport photograph. The faces registered MUST be the same faces that will be sitting for the Exam. There will be no changes.
A quiet, enclosed space with no distractions is mandatory to ensure the security of the exam. at the homepage instructions page view before entry and starting the exam.
A live proctor (Exam Invigilator) will remain with you for the duration of the Exam.

The Camera of your Desktop or Laptop will be utilized at all times during the exams.

STATE FINALS

The best in each Zone from all Sections in the first stage will qualify to participate in the final stage.

The Finals of The State Bible Quiz Competitions Finals will hold on SATURDAY, 28th JUNE 2025 AT 10AM

REGISTRATION FOR THE COMPETITON

Registration for the competition shall be Online on the portal of the Lagos State Council. The competition is FREE.
Battalions registering participants should be guided against any form of malpractice.
Battalion presenting Candidate(s) for this Bible Quiz Competition must have registered online with the Boys passport photograph. The faces registered MUST be the same faces that will be sitting for the Exam. There will be no changes.
After registration, participants will be duly informed on the date, time and venue for the competition.

Please note that it is the responsibility of the Battalion & Team Leaders to regularly check the State website for updates and the telephone number and emails used to register to ensure effective communication.
